'You've messed with the wrong person.' These celebs won't stop speaking about Phillip Schofield.

News broke last week that shattered the morning television scene in the UK.

What started as a shock resignation by Phillip Schofield from the co-host spot he's held at This Morning for over 14 years, has quickly spiralled into a mass revolt against the once-adored TV presenter.

In the last 24 hours alone, Phil's current and past co-hosts from This Morning have all released statements in reaction to the news. Some have shown support, others have feigned indifference in an attempt to create some distance between themselves and the chaos surrounding Phil. And a few have shown their stance firmly in the anti-Phil camp, airing dirty laundry, hurling accusations and even developing TV specials that threaten to 'expose' even more.

Here, we're running you through the latter.

This is exactly what every celebrity in the anti-Phil camp has said about the scandal.

What has Eamonn Holmes said about Phillip Schofield?

In case you're not across the very messy org chart of British morning telly, Eamonn Holmes is a former host of This Morning, along with his wife Ruth Holmes, who have previously acted as cover for Phil and Holly.

Eamonn is a jolly, Irish man who doesn't usually get that fired up about anything, but he's had perhaps the prickliest response to the Phillip Schofield scandal.

Since news broke of Phil's departure from This Morning, Eamonn has been on a bit of a Twitter rampage He's posted two Tweets himself and retweeted a whole lot more – making his stance on the scandal very clear: He is not a fan of Phil.

After Phillip released his statement on Instagram, Eamonn said:

"Schofield has just put out a delusional statement. Like Holly he puts it on Insta Stories so if it goes wrong there is no record after 24 hrs. I'm reluctant to give the liar any more publicity but believe me Pip if u r looking for a fight, you have picked on the wrong person!"

Followers were quick to call out Eamonn and re-share footage of Eamonn and Ruth comforting and supporting Phil during the episode where he addressed his sexuality.

Eamonn has replied to these shares declaring that he was "deceived and lied to" in that moment.

He doubled down on this sentiment within his own Twitter thread, mapping out the timeline of Phil's alleged deceit.

In the last 24 hours, Eamonn has been retweeting messages from showbiz reporter and TV presenter Dan Wootton and has now teamed up with the presenter for a special episode of Dan Wootton Tonight called 'Schofield The Real Story'. From the looks of the teaser trailer, it's set to expose a lot of behind-the-scenes information from This Morning and will no doubt paint Phil in an extremely negative light.

In another clip released from the 'Schofield The Real Story' special, Eamonn says that Holly Willoughby should be following Phil "out the door". Eamonn claims that Holly is trying to protect her "brand" and that's why she's now publicly distancing herself from Phillip Schofield.

What has Dan Wootton said about Phillip Schofield?

Wootton has plonked himself right into the centre of the Phil and Holly mayhem, running non-stop commentary about what he thinks should or shouldn't have happened. He's also claimed that he warned ITV (the network that host This Morning) of Phillip's allegedly inappropriate behaviour as far back as 2019.

It seems the crux of Dan's malice towards Phil is hooked on his relationship with a younger male colleague. This is a relationship that Phillip admits he kept a secret, but that it was a consensual relationship. Both Dan and Eamonn seem to sit on the side of the fence that labels this relationship as something much more sinister.

What has Piers Morgan said about Phillip Schofield?

While Piers Morgan may be best known for punching down on various people in the public eye, it looks like he might actually be sympathetic towards Phillip Schofield.

The divisive GB News presenter said the aftermath of Phillip's initial This Morning departure was “brutal to watch”, and criticised the network behind the show of “ruthless backstabbing in the world of daytime television”.

“One minute Schofield was the undisputed king of morning TV and fast heading to bona fide national treasure status – the next he’s a dethroned, shamed, vilified, national disgrace and social media laughing stock,” Piers wrote.

It's probably best to remind you all here that Piers left his own position as host of another ITV morning show, Good Morning Britain, back in 2021 following a viral row over his comments about Meghan Markle.

Referencing this his own exit from British morning telly, Piers claimed to have “personal empathy” with Phillip over his resignation.

However, following Phil's statement about his relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning, Piers tweeted the word "blimey," before airing his stance on what was about to go down at ITV.

“I fear we’re now entering the Reservoir Dogs phase of the Morning scandal… and it could end up with a lot of corpsed careers.”
