With two words, Married At First Sight's Tracey brutally burned Dean on Instagram.

This has been the week for Grammar Police and, as anyone familiar with a word-warrior-in-uniform will tell you, once they start, they never stop.

First actress Emma Watson found herself in a bit of a pickle when she was photographed at an Oscars after-party with a “Time’s Up” tattoo… without the apostrophe.

Luckily, the 27-year-old Harry Potter star responded like a boss and the world’s perfectionists eventually forgave her.

Now, not four days later, grammar is once again at the heart of a very heated argument.

One of the most controversial couples on this season of Married at First Sight have come to blows  (metaphorically – take that, warriors) over that dreaded case of: ‘your’ vs ‘you’re’.

It began when Dean Wells, a 39-year-old creative director from Sydney and one half of the couple ‘Tracey and Dean‘, posted to Instagram about his disagreements with fellow contestant Charlene Perera, 33.

"Sensitive times apparently," he captioned his Instagram post following Wednesday night's episode. "We both know the truth, how's Patty Miller going?" - This referencing Charlene's 'husband' Patrick.

But this is only setting the scene, the true crime comes in the next sentence where Dean tries to wish his 'wife' Tracey Jewel, a 34-year-old lifestyle writer from Perth, a happy birthday.

"Tracey, happy birthday babe. Your a real woman," he wrote, before tagging "International Women's Day".

And, just like that, he's likely blown any chance he ever had of making things work in his already rocky 'marriage'.

"It's you're," Tracey commented, without any further elaboration.

This comes amid reports the pair have split, with OK! magazine reporting yesterday: "It's common knowledge that Tracey and Dean are no longer together."

It's likely for the best. A grammar purist, and someone who can't tell their 'yours' apart?

It's never going to end well.
