Ah, TikTok. It's been a delightful source of some very bad (andsomegood) beauty trends in 2022. It's also the place where beauty products find fame (hey, Maybelline Sky High Mascara!) - because if you know it's gone viral on TikTok, you know it's good.

Watch: Speaking of TikTok trends, I tried the lube makeup hack. Here's what happened. Post continues below.

So, when I recently came across a big fat list of TikTok’s best beauty buys of 2022, I just knew I had to share them with y'all.

The list was compiled by social media experts at Ubiquitous, who looked at viral hashtag views across the platform to come up with the "ultimate 2022 holiday gift guide according to TikTok."

Wanna know what beauty products made the cut? Of course, you do!

Below, we've rounded up 15 of the top beauty products that have gone viral on TikTok this year - and if they're really worth the hype.

15. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand, $60.

If you haven't tried Charlotte Tilbury's range of beauty wands - you're missing out, friend. Coming in at number 15 is the much-loved Contour Wand, and there's no surprise here. It's a popular product for good reason!

The creamy formula is perfectly lightweight, buildable and blendable, and the easiest way to define your features for a beautiful, natural finish.

Ya gottatry it!

14. The Ordinary Peeling Solution, $8 (USD).

FYI: This guy isn't available in Australia, yet (you can get it shipped over online, though). But if Leigh Campbell's review is anything to go by, you're going to want to make sure you're good with using powerful exfoliants - because it's super strong (she actually ended up passing it on to her husband... who apparently loves it!).

13. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb, $34.

Have we tried? Goodness, you need to. It's up there as one of my Holy Grail beauty products - which is saying something, because I try an awful lotta lip products. I love how you can wear it alone or layer it over lipstick for beautiful juicy, plump lips.

There are six different shades, and you honestly can't go wrong with any of them. My faves? $weet Mouth or Diamond Milk.

12. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, $31.

Okay, I've talked about this at LEAST 76 times this year - but this Laneige Lip Mask. I love, love, love it. And so does TikTok, judging by the 88.7 million users who wanted to see if it was worth the hype. (It is).

It comes in a variety of flavours (Gummy Bear is the best IMHO). If you're looking for an intensely hydrating overnight lip mask, give it a go! You'll wake up with hydrated, soft lips.

11. Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey, $41.

This year, people went so crazy for Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey that you couldn't get your hands on it for a while. It was literally sold out everywhere. And you guys - I hate to say it, but it's as good as everyone says it is. Sorry! But it is.

While it's not a new launch (it's been around for yonks), the sudden obsession with everything Y2k brought this iconic balm/gloss hybrid back into circulation. And we're not complaining! It adjusts to your individual skin tone and gives you the most perfect sheer colour that looks different on everyone.

10. GrandeLASH MD Lash Enhancing Serum, $68 (USD).

Lash care absolutely exploded in 2022 - with more and more people ditching heavy eyelash extensions for lighter, natural and fluffier-looking lashes. The most highly searched lash serum on TikTok? This gem.

A whopping107 million people searched GrandeLASH MD Lash Enhancing Serum on TikTok this year - so you could say there's a little bit of a buzz around it!

Just FYI, it's not available in-store in Australia, but it looks like there are a few different sites that ship it at different costs.

9. Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, $65.

Yep, another Charlotte Tilbury buy made the list! And it's a goodie. Because show me a person who hasn't raved about Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Filter, and I'll show you a liar.

While this isn't exactly a new launch, 2022 was definitely the year this product became a crowd favourite. Mostly because it's just so dang versatile. Worn alone, underneath, mixed in with or on top of your foundation, it's the easiest way to nag glowing, luminous skin. Bless you, CT.

8. Too Faced Lip Injector Extreme Plumper, $43.

There were over 149 million people who searched this Too Faced lip plumper on TikTok. NBD. There are a few different versions you might have already tried, but this 'Extreme' one is a little more intense than the others (if you couldn't tell by the name).

It's kind of like a serum-style gloss, but definitely expect a serious tingling sensation! Worn alone or on top of lip colour, it's the easiest way to plump up the volume.

7. L’Oreal Infallible 24-Hour Foundation, $37.

Please meet the only foundation that made the cut: L'Oreal Infallible 24-Hour Foundation. Surprised? Not really.

This formula has been touted as one of the best everyday foundations, racking up rave reviews all round. And with a savey price tag that won't break the band, it's little wonder it has 173.5 million people checking it out on TikTok

6. Glitter spray.

If you're partial to a little bit of glitter, then this one's for you. Because the hashtag 'glitter spray' is trending on a whole other level - with 184.2 million people looking at it on TikTok.

Whether you want to spray it on your hair, face, body or all of the above, when it comes to glitter - more is more!!

If you're looking for an option, try: http://Be%20Yourself%20Glitter%20Hair%20Spray%20Silver Be Yourself Glitter Hair Spray Silver, $5.50.

5. https://www.adorebeauty.com.au/dior/dior-dior-addict-lip-glow-balm.html Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil, $60.

If you're not a lip oil gal yet, it's officially time to get on board! And there's no better place to start than with the iconic Dior Lip Addict Glow.

With 300.8 million hashtag views on TikTok, you simply can't go wrong with this iconic formula. It's ultra-nourishing, non-sticky, and guaranteed to make your lips look approximately 10 times better, every time.

4. Pimple patches.

If you're someone who struggles with breakouts, you'll know the struggle with gels and creams that can dry out your skin or simply
