The vibrant colours and delicate petals serve as visual metaphors, emphasising the transformative power of nature and its ability to heal the deepest wounds. The series is directed by Glendyn Ivin (Penguin Bloom, Safe Harbour), whose cinematography expertly captures the essence of the flowers; infusing the series with a poetic and visually stunning quality.

While The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart tackles serious issues such as domestic violence, intergenerational trauma and the quest for identity, it is ultimately an uplifting story of survival and self-discovery, making it a must watch series for 2023.
