When Alice Hart was nine years old, both her parents died in a mysterious house fire. Sent to live with her protective grandmother June at Thornfield flower farm, Alice learns to process the trauma of her past through the healing power of flowers. In time, Alice uncovers her family’s secret past and the secrets she has buried deep inside herself.
That’s the premise of The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, the new Prime Video series based on Australian author Holly Ringland’s best-selling debut novel of the same name. The first three episodes of The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart will launch exclusively on Prime Video on August 4 globally, with one episode dropping every Friday until September 1.
From the award-winning producers of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers, the seven-part series is a coming-of-age story, a compelling mystery, and a courageous tale of female resilience. It’s guaranteed to hook you in from the very first episode, as you become invested in Alice’s story and in finding out the truth of her past.
