It's week eight on The Block and another guest bedroom has been in the making ahead of judging this week.

As such, most of the contestants decided to renovate their spaces into a kid's bedroom.

Unfortunately for Ankur and Sharon, their week was made even tougher. After going $53,000 over budget, their building site was shut down by Scott Cam.

After the week of Hell, none of the Blockheads budgets were looking too good, but none were quite as bad as House Three who were convinced the shut down is a personal attack. After all, they do have the biggest house on The Block.

However, the pair did manage to complete their guest bedroom by tools down.

Here are all the photos from The Block's guest bedrooms:

Tom and Sarah-Jane

Money spent: $12,884.

Tom and Sarah-Jane are first up and the judges were impressed with their baby nursery. It was beautifully done and also... adorable.

"It has got that eye for detail, that precision and that consistency that has got to be Tom and Sarah-Jane's trademark," said Neale.

Shaynna felt the room was perfect for a tween too and loved how it could easily transition into an older child's bedroom without much difficulty.

She loved the coloured print on the ceiling but preferred a different green on the wall. Darren agreed saying, "The one thing that's jarring me is that colour isn't quite grey enough or yellow enough."

Overall, the judges felt the space was "superb" and admired the execution.

Rachel and Ryan

Money spent: $11,948.

Upon walking into Rachel and Ryan's guest bedroom, Shaynna was overwhelmed by the artwork chosen by the pair's children.

"They had to leave their kids in a split second to be here... They couldn't really prep themselves or the kids," explained Shaynna, tearily. "I reckon there'd be a lot of emotion in this room."

Shaynna loved the wallpaper, noting it as her favourite on The Block so far.

"It tells a story," said Neale. "It's full of whimsy."

The sizing of the room was perfect to convert to a playroom too, the judges noted.

Every single feature in the room - from the wallpaper to the styling and the toys - were beautiful.

However, the judges were disappointed there wasn't a light switch by the bed.

Ankur and Sharon

Money spent: $16,128.

The judges were impressed upon walking into Ankur and Sharon's kid's bedroom. They felt it was whimsical, pretty and lovely.

Despite having a limited budget, the pair received some solid feedback.

"This is sweet," said Neale. "I think this room had me at the rabbit [artwork]."

Darren felt the styling and furnishing required a lot of thought saying, "It's not biased against a girl or a boy. I like that it's general."

Neale added: "It's got the kind of warmth that comes from the size. It's cosy... This feels like a kid's den."

Shaynna couldn't help but feel concerned the room is too different and doesn't flow with the other rooms the pair have delivered.

Jenny and Dylan

Money spent: $7,546.

House Four had the judges floored with their kid's bedroom this week.

There was not one thing awry, said the judges. They loved the toy choices, the wallpaper and the bed. The art choices were wonderful too, they said.

Neale felt he couldn't remember such consistency in kid's rooms in the history of The Block, including Dylan and Jenny's bedroom.

"I'm in love," said Shaynna. "It's heaven."

Darren loved the room just as much as Shaynna and Neale saying, "It definitely sells the family, luxury, country dream to me."

Omar and Oz

Money spent: $11,815.

House Five made a controversial decision in creating a second living space instead of a fifth bedroom but according to the judges, it definitely didn't pay off.

All three felt nothing in the space worked at all.

"It's very cinematic," said Darren. However, that was their only praise.

Shaynna felt the room could not be converted into a bedroom due to all the cabinetry, to which Darren agreed.

"It is what it is. It's either a home office or a sitting room," he said.

Neale said with a work from home space coming up, House Five "doesn't need" another room dedicated to being an office.

"I think this is a mistake," Darren said. "What do people do when they come and visit you? They don't go home. They come and stay.. You need guest bedrooms."

Neale said it felt like a room that has "shot itself in the foot," with no personality.

After the judges' scores were tallied, Dylan and Jenny took out the win, making it their second win on The Block.

Next week, the contestants will tackle their last guest bedroom inside their homes, along with their re-do room.

House One is tasked with fixing up their living room.

House Two will re-do their guest bedroom with the green wall.

House Three will take on their living room.

House Four will also have another go at their living room.

House Five is to re-do their master bedroom.
