Married At First Sight's couples are going to be shown video from their entire marriages.

Okay, we’d be lying if we didn’t say the last few episodes of Married At First Sight have been a little… lacklustre?

The series started out strong, with plenty of drama – hello, Dean and Davina. Sure, there have been some jaw-dropping moments lately. Tracey telling Dean she only stuck around to spite him was kind of amazing and terrifying all at the same time.

But after losing most of the colourful characters, things started to go downstream in a speedboat.

Thankfully, it looks like that’s all about to change, with the TV gods finally answering our prayers, and just in time, too.

Next Wednesday’s episode is going to be a first for the hit series, and we literally cannot wait.

The episode will see the remaining couples being shown footage from throughout their relationship. That’s right, the ups, the downs, the fights – it will all be laid bare as they edge closer to deciding whether or not they’re going to continue with their relationships beyond the show.

And just in case that isn’t guaranteed to stir up enough drama, they’ll also be shown footage from the boys’ night. Yeah, you remember the boys’ night – when all the guys sat around talking about which of the other women they would have preferred to have been partnered with. Charming.

Let’s just say it will be interesting to see if the footage changes any of their minds – especially with most of the couples sitting on the fence about whether or not they’re going to continue with their relationships.

We’re officially back on board, and the cringe will be oh-so real.
