The Veronicas' Jess Origliasso has publicly accused ex Ruby Rose of "continued harassment".

The Veronicas’ Jess Origliasso has claimed ex-girlfriend Ruby Rose has been ‘harassing’ her since their break-up earlier this year.

Addressing the issue in a comment exchange on Instagram, Jess said she had ‘requested Ruby Rose cease contact for over four months’.

Jess, 33, was responding to a comment the Pitch Perfect star left on an Instagram photo of her and new boyfriend Kai Carlton at her twin sister’s recent wedding in Queensland.

“Congratulations! So happy for you both,” Ruby commented, to which Jess replied:

“I have requested you not contact me for over 4 months now. You have been given my grace of being ignored on every other private platform, so the fact you continue to ignore this to contact me here publicly under the guise of wishing me well is continued harassment.”

But it didn't stop there, with Ruby commenting:

“That is news to me. Copy that. Good vibes only."

The couple split after almost two years together in April, but rumours their relationship was on the rocks began late last year amid a bitter feud between Ruby and Jess' twin sister Lisa.

Lisa was forced to deny claims that she didn’t support marriage equality after Ruby took a swipe at her on Twitter for celebrating the same-sex marriage plebiscite result.

“So glad to see Lisa Origliasso screaming in excitement about the yes vote after telling us she thinks we should feel ‘lucky’ we don’t get stoned to death like they do in other countries and to get over it a few months ago. Really warms my heart,” Ruby wrote in the since-deleted tweet.

Lisa firmly denied that she’d ever made “intolerant statements”.

“I did not make those statements and I do not hold those views. Sexuality has never played a factor in my acceptance of people or their relationships,” she said.

At the time, Jess had seemingly backed her girlfriend's fiery tweet towards her sister, with a statement of her own that has since been deleted:

“I may not have struggled with an inner turmoil, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t struggled with people close to me, degrading my sexuality because of their own personal judgments [sic] or ignorance,” she explained.

Her words seemed to hint that Jess and Lisa had fallen out over the issue themselves.

“People can publicly support the LGBT community, but behind closed doors inflict deep pain because of their own inability to accept or understand you as a part of that community," she added.

Jess and Ruby, who began dating after The Veronicas’ 2016 music video On Your Side in which Ruby featured, had previously described their break-up as amicable.

In an announcement on Twitter, Ruby insisted they both “still love each other very much”, and that she will “always support (Origliasso) and be her biggest advocate”.

However, Jess had unfollowed Ruby on social media months prior, and both have deleted all Instagram photos of them together.

Neither have commented further on the harassment claims.
