8 Sephora Collection makeup dupes worth ditching your spendy products for.

Whether you're a beauty girl or not, chances are you love a little peruse around the Sephora aisles. It's just dreamy. Fun. Exciting. There are so many fancy brands. So many products. Lots of pretty packaging. Inevitably, you'll always pop in for one thing and leave with enough products to last you until you die.

But what you might not know is just how many hidden gems you'll find in Sephora's in-house brand - Sephora Collection. Like, goodness there are so many goodies. And it makes sense, really.

Sephora obviously has access to a massive selection of products from other brands - they know what consumers want, what works (and what doesn't) and where to take inspiration from.

That's why Sephora Collection products are so popular - not only do they boast unique formulas and a wide range of shades, but they're often way more affordable than their spendier counterparts. And they're just as good (if not, better) than the real thing.

So, in the interest of saving you some cash, we've rounded up eight of the best dupe products from the Sephora Collection.

The savey dupe: Sephora Collection Soft Matte and Easy Lip Stain, $24.

Whether you're looking for a bold red or something soft and subtle, Sephora Collection has a range of matte lipsticks that rival the cult Rare Beauty Lip Souffle everyone always raves about. (Our very own Mia Freedman is a fan of Sephora Collection's range of lip products).

A five-star review on Sephora's site reads: "This might be the best lip product in the Sephora Collection and the formula is so unique. The colours are wearable, the formula is so comfortable and smells great... and it doesn’t give you the dry, crusty liquid lipstick effect that we all had in 2016."

The spendy: Dior Lip Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss in 001, $62
The savey dupe: Sephora Collection Outrageous Plump Lip Gloss in 01, $23.

At $62, Dior Lip Addict Gloss is as spendy as it gets for a lip product - but it's been praised for its comfortable, non-sticky formula that makes your lips look plump and juicy.

However, there are some stellar dupes out there that are way more affordable - Sephora Collection Outrageous Plump Lip Gloss in 01 being one of them. Plumping, hydrating and delightfully non-sticky, it comes in eight different shades and gives your lips the most beautiful subtle hint of colour.

Brow girls, this one's for you. While Anastasia Beverley Hills' brow range can do no wrong, we love how you can get the same firm hold as their popular clear brow gel with this more affordable version from Sephora Collection. No crunchiness. No white marks. Just beautiful, polished brows that stay in place.

The spendy: Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder, $66.
The savey dupe: Sephora Collection Translucent Setting Powder, $32.

Huda Beauty is another popular brand with a MASSIVE following, but according to TikTok, it has some serious competition with the Sephora Collection range.

In fact, the Translucent Setting Powder from Sephora is supposedly an exact dupe for the viral Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder. Reviewers say it gives a similar blurred, weightless finish but waaay cheaper.

Sephora Collection's Colorful Blush is enjoying its moment in the social media spotlight as a bang-on dupe for Dior's popular Backstage Rosy Glow Blush in 001 Pink - and we can totally see why! Not only is the shade almost identical but the formula and lasting pigment is also a really close match to the OG.

A five-star review on Sephora's website read: "It adds the perfect pop of colour to my cheeks and really brightens up my complexion. It's also long-lasting and blends beautifully with my other makeup products. I highly recommend."

The Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is one of the bestselling mascaras out there - and it has SO much hype around it. The good news? Sephora Collection has an affordable option that works just as good (just check out the reviews on TikTok).

Plus, seeing as you're supposed to give your mascara the old switcheroo every three months - opting for a more affordable version is way better for your pocket.

The spendy: Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional Face Primer, $60.
The savey dupe: Sephora Collection Smooth & Blur Primer, $25.

With a similar velvety finish, Sephora Collection's Smooth & Blur Primer is supposed to be the perfect dupe for the OG pore-blurring primer from Benefit Cosmetics. And at less than half the price, too.

The spendy: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, $31.

YES, Sephora has a dupe of the cult favourite Laneige Lip Mask and YES it's good. The overnight treatment (which can obviously be used during the day, too) comes in two shades (Strawberry and Vanilla), and at a very attractive $12 (compared to a spendier $31) it's so much more affordable.
