One relationship starts and another ends: Everything that’s happened since MAFS ended.

MAFS may be done and dusted for the year, but the drama is still rolling in for the contestants.

From the couples finally confirming whether they're actually together, to ex-contestants trying to reignite feuds, and the predictable split announcements, MAFS fans have dealt with a tsunami of petty drama, and it just keeps comin'.

In the two months since the two-part reunion aired, there have already been loads of revelations. We've rounded up everything that's gone down since... and oh boy, it's a lot.

Richard has hard-launched a new relationship.

Married At First Sight's Richard Sauerman has hard-launched his new relationship with a woman named Margie, who shares a striking resemblance to the groom. Not weird at all!

Richard uploaded a photo of the couple this week, but according to Margie's Instagram, the two have potentially been dating for at least two months, as she previously shared a photo of the MAFS groom back in April. Oop!

"Date night - looking weirdly like twins," Richard shared on Instagram.

But never one to take the high road, the 62-year-old took the chance to throw some shade at his ex-MAFS bride, Andrea Thompson. In the comments, one person left a nasty comment that read “She doesn't look moody like the chook you had on MAFS," with Richard replying "She’s not."

Lovely!

Richard and Andrea famously didn’t get along for most of the 2024 experiment and exited the show before Final Vows.

Timothy and Lucinda are no longer BFFs.

As one new relationship blossoms, another has sadly shriveled up and died. Okay, I’m being dramatic but something has gone wrong between Timothy Smith and Lucinda Light aka the GOAT couple of the 2024 season.

Timothy and Lucinda have unfollowed each other on Instagram. They are also no longer tagged in each other's photos which is a big uh-oh: they've likely blocked each other too.

When asked about the unfollowing, Lucinda told us she respects, "Tim's need for unfollowing me and I've expressed to him that my arms and doors are always open."

Meanwhile, Timothy posted a TikTok to share his side. He reckons the MAFS cast have all moved "in different directions" since filming ended.

@timsmith070 Okay, I hope this clears up a few questions if it doesn’t let me know but you know that you’re not gonna get everything. Enjoy the sun everybody and have a great day#life #struggle #chalangeyourself #mensmentalhealth #live #lost #challenge #changing #australia #bigdreams #changing ♬ original sound - Tim Smith

"A lot of the cast have dissipated and we all form our circles or just lose touch," he said.

But the MAFS fave did hint at some drama brewing between the exes. "Whatever's happened behind the scenes, I'm always going to keep that private. And in regards to the online websites or articles about jealousy, about this and about that, they’re all off the mark," Timothy said.

Cass and Sara have addressed their feud… sorta.

On the season reunion, a random feud between Sara Mesa and Cassandra Allen appeared seemingly out of nowhere, culminating in Cass labelling Sara as 'fake'.

After the reality stars got their social pages back, Cass referenced the beef in a TikTok thanking her fans for their support. In the hilarious video, Cass is giving a loving message to fans when the camera cuts to her friend, telling her "that's boring, they want to know all the stuff you have to say about you-know-who", which is a likely nod to Sara.

In response, Cass vents, "I don't want to talk about you-know-who!" before her friend encourages her to, "Just say something nice!"

@cassandraallen_ I can’t believe I actually did that 😅 #mafs #mafsaustralia #marriedatfirstsight #higuys ♬ original sound - Cassandra Allen

Later responding to a comment, Cass confirmed that it was Sara she was referring to. "Do you actually mean those things you said to Sara? Or did MAFS make you say those things!?" one person asked.

To this, Cass wrote back "Oh everyone says what they mean and they mean what they say."

The video was praised by fellow MAFS contestants Michael Felix and Sara's former screen bestie, Eden Harper.

Sara has also spoken about the feud in an Instagram Q&A. A follower asked, "Is the stuff about feud with Cass true?" and she replied "What stuff? I'm actually so confused about this 'feud'. The show was filmed a year ago. I have zero qualms with Cassandra," she wrote.

"She has her opinion of me and that's totally fine. I'm moving on with my life and I hope everyone on the show can just focus on themselves and do the same."

In the same Q&A, Sara also admitted she was approached to do MAFS, and didn't actually do the show to find a partner.

"My personal reason for going on the show wasn't because I was desperate for love," she wrote.

"I wanted the experience and could see how something like this could benefit life in general."

Jonathan and Lauren fought on TikTok.

The drama between these two just doesn't stop.

In a rogue TikTok video, Jono McCullough clarified what "really happened" at the Reunion Dinner Party and why his bride Lauren Dunn cried.

"There was a massive bit of context removed," the reality star claimed. "Lauren had a partner outside the experiment. [She told me] on the first day of our honeymoon."

He also said that Lauren told him, "'I'm not interested in a relationship. Let's look after each other and have fun...' That changes a LOT of things. She said I was cheating on her and that clearly wasn't happening."

Jono also said that Lauren was not crying because he'd coupled up with Ellie but because the "table tore shreds through her".

"They said, 'How dare you call Jono a cheater when you had a boyfriend the whole time!'" he said, which is an interesting claim because he also told Daily Mail Australia that he personally didn't believe Lauren had a "boyfriend" but a "person she was interested in".

"I don't think it was a boyfriend. But it was a person she was interested in... It was a person she wanted to pursue a romantic relationship with, and that wasn't with me," he said on April 9.

In response, Lauren posted her own TikTok, captioned, "Literally no one: my ex-husband," adding audio of someone gossiping. Lauren’s rep told Yahoo Lifestyle that the MAFS bride is unbothered by Jono's claims. "Lauren is booked and busy. She has well and truly moved on with her life and hopes Jono can do the same."

Tim has a new girlfriend.

We've known for a while that Tim Calwell had a new love interest, but they've gone IG official.

His new girlfriend, Barbara, debuted their relationship on social media in a post for the MAFS groom's 32nd birthday. In the post, she shared a series of photos of them together.

"B'day boy appreciation post for this handsome man who makes me happy every day," she wrote in the caption, per So Dramatic!

Back in February, a source told Yahoo Lifestyle that Tim had been "briefly seeing" Barbara before filming and then "got back [with her] a week after he split from [his MAFS bride] Sara Mesa."

Tim has since confirmed their relationship on social media as well.

Eden opens up about her breakup with Jayden.

Eden Harper spoke out about her shock breakup with Jayden Eynaud, saying the split felt "out of the blue".

In an interview with Hit Network's The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G, Eden expressed that the breakup caught her completely off guard, emphasising that she noticed no signs indicating their relationship was on the rocks.

"I didn't really think that there was anything that much wrong with [the relationship]," she said. "He broke up with me, so just out of the blue one night."

The reality star continued, explaining that there was no real reason for the breakup, and that "there was no big fight" between the two that could have driven Jayden to make the decision.

"He just said, 'I just feel like this isn’t right,'" she told the radio hosts.

The MAFS participant also spoke about Jayden's night out with fellow bride, Lauren, where the two were filmed with their arms around each other. Although Lauren insisted it was a friendly get-together, Eden viewed the situation differently.

"The events of what happened after that night out... that was kind of the nail in the coffin for me I think, and I never got an apology," she said. "It was pretty upsetting, that [night out] was only a few days post what happened."

Eden announced their breakup on Instagram last month.

"When I made the decision at final vows to be with Jayden, I really did that with long-term intentions," she captioned a carousel of couple pics. "Jayden and I spent many months together after the experiment, during which [Eden's dog] Cub gained a dad and I gained a second family who I'm truly grateful for.

"I'm saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end. The 'reality' is, the person I chose didn't choose me. Whilst I'm disappointed, I will never regret the experiment, the people I met, the lessons I learnt and the growth this process has had on me."

Jayden then followed suit, posting a similar announcement.

"Sometimes in life, things don’t always go the way you had hoped for. After the experiment, Eden and I went back to the Gold Coast and continued to enjoy living our lives together and getting to know each other every day," he captioned his Instagram post.

"However, unfortunately, our relationship ended not long before the end of the experiment airing. As sad as it is, I'm so glad I got to go through this with such an amazing woman and a beautiful son. You will both always have a second family on the Gold Coast."

Jono and Ellie moved in together.

The year's resident couple-swapping match looks like it could turn out to be a recipe for long-lasting love.

In an interview with 9Entertainment, lovebirds Jono McCullough and Ellie Dix revealed they now live together. Jono said Ellie was initially staying "a couple of nights a week but then never went home", and she has since settled into Jono's apartment.

"I've taken over most of the wardrobe and the bathroom and there's hair everywhere," joked Ellie.

The couple have hit another milestone, too. "We've dropped the L-bomb," Ellie confirmed. Jono shared that Ellie went to say it first, but he pipped her at the post.

"We were drunk one night at a mate's birthday party and Ellie was like, 'I want to tell you something,'" said Jono. "I was like, 'I love you too'"

The couple envisions kids in their future but "it's not in our plan right now", Ellie shared. Jono revealed they have a five-week trip to Europe booked this year. Must be nice!

In the meantime, they've been catching up with some of our other MAFS faves.

Lauren and Ben have gone rogue on TikTok.

Lauren Dunn has been posting a whole lot on TikTok. In one vague post, she filmed herself eating with the caption, "At least now I can eat whatever I want without being judged," which she posted after the finale.

Ben Walters has also taken several swipes at his ex Ellie on TikTok. Sharing a clip of Ellie swearing at Sara Mesa at the Reunion Dinner Party, Ben captioned the clip "#truecolours". In response to expert Alessandra Rampolla commenting, "We've never seen this side of Ellie," Ben turned the camera on himself to say, "I've seen it." Awks.

In another TikTok, he used a cover spread of Ellie and Jono as err... toilet paper. Real mature, dude.

A bunch of random contestants have been romantically linked.

Timothy Smith has been a busy boy since filming wrapped, as he's been rumoured to have started dating both Andrea Thompson and, errr... Natalie Parham? (Who, in case you forgot, was paired up with Collins Christian this season.)

It was first reported in April that Timothy and Andrea were dating after an insider told Yahoo Lifestyle that the pair have been "spending an increasing amount of time together".

Andrea has denied anything romantic is going on, telling New Idea that she and Timothy are merely "beautiful friends", before adding "There's nothing romantic there... I adore him, and he adores me."

Then there's the other rumour.

Natalie was photographed holding Timothy's hand while heading to a reunion viewing party. It should be mentioned she was also papped holding MAFS groom Michael Felix's hand and linking arms with Ellie Dix, so Nat could've just been in a loving mood. We've all been there, sister.

Two of the final three couples have been posting cute content together.

While we've learned that Sara Mesa and Tim Calwell have parted ways since Final Vows, and that Eden and Jayden have split, the fate of the other two couples was uncertain. But from their social media activity, it's clear they are going strong.

Tori Adams posted a dedication to Jack Dunkley on Instagram, while Ridge Barredo and Jade Pywell have shared several cute pics and videos together.
