At this point we’ve pretty much given up on trying to steer clear of Married at First Sight spoilers.

After all, there seems to be a new one shared every 24 hours.

But while some rumours have been entirely ridiculous, others have turned out to be entirely legitimate.

Now, a new rumour courtesy of former Married at First Sight bride Lauren Huntriss has some fans questioning whether they should even bother finishing the reality show.

Responding to a comment in a Married at First Sight Facebook fan group, Lauren, who split up with her ‘virgin’ husband Matthew Bennett on the show, appeared to claim that all but one of the couples had ended their marriage.

“[It’s] all for ratings, sadly,” Lauren said in response to a comment defending groom Mick, who was forced to stay in the competition when his ‘wife’ Jessika elected to stay to continue her affair with fellow contestant Mick.

"They mismatched all of us except for one couple," she continued.

"It would make for boring TV if we were happy and drama free, right?"

Erm, does this mean Jules and Cam are the only couple to make it through MAFS?

Although it's a shock that only one couple made it through, we're not entirely surprised about the news.

After all, in recent weeks, there's been countless split rumours about couples Nic and Cyrell, Mark and Ning and Mike and Heidi.

Last month, Lauren also claimed the reality show's producers "manipulate" the contestants.

"I just want to clear this up because, firstly, anyone who watches reality TV, surely they understand that it is not real life. It is not reality. Producers will go to extreme lengths to tell a story, and they will edit you, manipulate you in any way that they can to tell that story," she told the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

"I felt disgusted (when I first saw the edited version), and I was so upset. Then I received so much hate … For them to paint me as this nympho, it was disgusting. I feel so let down."
