Here are our honest thoughts on whether it's worthy of your dollars:

Isabelle.

"I am not a tequila drinker by any means, but I am a pop culture enthusiast. This meant I had to investigate Kendall's latest venture for myself and truly get to the bottom of the bottle of it all.

"I tried the 818 Tequila Blanco and the 818 Tequila Repasado, each paired with a splash of my favourite mixer and a couple of cubes of ice. To my surprise, I didn't hate it.

"I will say, the first thing I noticed was the smell, so if you're sensitive, you've been warned. However, there is a silver lining because when I took a sip, what I tasted was anything but strong. The blend was nothing short of magic. For once the flavour wasn't too overpowering, which I've often found with other Tequila brands. Instead, it offered a sweet and smooth finish which would make it perfect for cocktails or parties.

"My final verdict: If you usually steer clear of tequila, but want to give it another go - this one was made for you."

Emily.

"When I took a little whiff of the tequila mixed very cutely with cranberry, I thought I was going to pass out. The smell was so strong, I got immediate flashbacks to sticky nightclub floorboards at 2AM. I almost didn't want to taste it after that.

"After a few encouraging words, I tried the drink and was genuinely surprised. It was… good. I took another sip, and it was… really good. I want to clarify and say that I'm not a tequila drinker so the reason it was good was because it didn't taste like tequila at all. More like a floral syrup. If you're a fan of tequila, this one is probably not for you.

"If you're like me and can't stand the spirit but whose social circle is made up of spicy margarita fans, I'd definitely give Kenny a go!"

Charlie.

"Like every other basic girl in their 20s, I was keen to try 818 - so when I saw the Resposado in bottle stores in Hawaii last year I obviously had to buy it.

"Although I'm not an alcohol or wine snob (will happily drink inexpensive wine), I think there's nothing worse than cheap tequila. The burn, the taste, I can't do it. 818 Reposado is smooth (you don't need a lime following a shot). But it's also really sweet.

"The darker of the two tequilas, it has hints of toffee and vanilla that you can taste it immediately. If you like sweet, you'll love this.

"Personally, I like a smooth tequila over a sweet one. I was happy to try it and would drink it if someone offered it to me, but would I buy it again? Not sure."
