1.Friends say Lachlan Gillespie tried to save his marriage to Emma Watkins right before The Wiggles couple announced their separation.

On Friday, Lachlan Gillespie and Emma Watkins, better known as the Purple and Yellow Wiggles respectively, announced that they would be separating after two years of marriage.

It is now being reported, by Sunday Confidential, that Gillespie has been left completely devastated by the end of his marriage, and that he desperately tried to save the relationship right before they decided to part ways.

“The truth is they are actually still friends and it is all very civil, but Lachy is absolutely heartbroken,” a friend of the couple told the publication.

“He was completely besotted by Emma and worshipped her and still does. He tried absolutely everything to make it work, but in the end, he couldn’t. His heart has been broken.”

The friend also apparently shut down any suggestion that Gillespie left his wife due to her struggle with endometriosis.

The couple has said that neither of them will be leaving The Wiggles, and will continue to work together.

“We have chosen a different path to travel in our personal lives, but please know that we are stronger than ever and we can’t wait to see you at a show soon,” they said in their joint statement, which they shared to their respective Instagram profiles, on Friday afternoon.

2. Justin Timberlake has a few thoughts on Pink cancelling her Sydney concert.

When an article accused Pink of cancelling a concert to relax on the beach in Byron Bay, she clapped back with her signature kick-arse style.

The What About Us singer took a screenshot of the snarky headline, and posted it to her Instagram account alongside a lengthy explanation.

I don’t need to clear this up, but out of respect for my fans I will attempt it. I scheduled this tour meticulously, trying to do what was best for my children, while also putting on the best and most physically demanding and beautiful show of my life. This break in Byron has been scheduled since 2017, as a way to get outside the hotel and the winter and have some time with my children. I’ve already been sick twice (kids as well)on this Australian tour, but the first time we got sick, I was able to push through. This time, what these parasite paparazzi don’t show you, is two doctor visits in Byron on two consecutive days, antibiotics, steroids, Vick’s, nose spray, throat spray, more steroids, NyQuil, a screaming baby in the middle of the night, every night, while mama gives him warm baths and tells her daughter everything is fine. You can think whatever you want, it’s your right, but I have never taken advantage of any one in my entire life. I have never fucked off while disrespecting hard working people who spend money to come see me play. I have never phoned in a single tour, I have an impeccable record for not cancelling. I mother with everything I have whilst handling all the rest. The snark in this is unbelievable and makes me long for a nicer world. I’m doing the absolute best I can, and you can believe it or not. What they don’t show you in this picture is me drinking water and lying down while my friends try to entertain my 7 year old who is asking me why these creepy men are surrounding us and pacing back and forth and taking pictures of her every move. I will see everyone tomorrow whether I’m better or not, and the postponed show will be rescheduled. As I said, I’m sorry to the real fans who this situation has affected. Onwards and upwards.

And now celebrities who know and have worked with the star personally are coming to her defence, most notably Justin Timberlake.

“I’m sorry, sis. But, I gotta jump in too… As an artist who has had the fortune of sharing the stage twice on tour with this incomparable BADASS (once with ‘NSync and once as a solo artist), I’m here to tell you that you won’t find a harder working, more authentically talented, and more thankful for her place on that stage and her fans than this woman,” Timberlake said in a comment on Pink’s photo.

“Night in and night out… the woman just brings it. But DAY 1’s and 2’s know that. FOH.

“And NOW… as a parent on tour as well, and an artist who LOVES their fans just as much and wants to give them an unprecedented experience… AND is currently battling an injury, a sinus infection, and trying to be the Dad I want to be too?? I say HATS OFF to you, my friend.

3. Apparently, Angelina Jolie is fighting Brad Pitt so hard in their child custody dispute her lawyer is threatening to quit.

In case you missed it, Brangelina is no more.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the middle of a custody battle that’s so intense, Jolie’s lawyer has allegedly threatened to quit.

“Sources” have told TMZ, Jolie is trying to “kill” any relationship Pitt has with his kids.

“She’s fuelled with anger and has gotten ridiculously unreasonable,” one source said.

Another source told the publication Jolie's lawyer, Laura Wasser, had threatened to quit because the Hollywood star had become too "venomous".

Jolie, however, has denied the allegations.

A representative for the mum-of-two told PEOPLE the two are still working together.

“I’ve spoken directly to Laura,” Jolie’s spokesperson, Mindy Nyby, told PEOPLE. “The TMZ story is not true. She’s not quitting now or in the future.”

4. Lost producers have apologised to Evangeline Lilly for the nude scene that left her in tears.

Earlier this week, Lost star Evangeline Lilly revealed she was "cornered" into doing a semi-nude scene while filming the cult TV show.

The actress said the scene left her "trembling and in tears".

Now producer JJ Abrams has issued a public apology to Lilly through ET.

“Our response to Evie’s comments in the media was to immediately reach out to her to profoundly apologise for the experience she detailed while working on Lost. We have not yet connected with her, but remain deeply and sincerely sorry,” he said. “No person should ever feel unsafe at work. Period.”

Lilly told the Lost Boys podcast this week that was just one of the uncomfortable experiences she went through while depicting Kate in the TV show.

“In season three, I’d had a bad experience on set with being basically cornered into doing a scene partially naked, and I felt had no choice in the matter,” she said. “And I was mortified and I was trembling when it finished. I was crying my eyes out and I had to go on do a very formidable, very strong scene thereafter.

“In season four, another scene came up where Kate was undressing and I fought very hard to have that scene be under my control.

“And I failed to control it again. So I then said, ‘That’s it, no more. You can write whatever you want — I won’t do it. I will never take my clothes off on this show again.’ And I didn’t.”

5. Rebecca Judd shared a photo of herself as a teenager and is unrecognisable.

The 35-year-old said the picture was taken when she was 15, and features her wearing braces, as well as celebrity posters in the background.

“Just packing up our house and found this,” the mum-of-four wrote on the photo, which she posted to her Instagram stories.

“I mean, no wonder I got all the fellas when I was 15,” she joked.
