Stop. Everything.
I just learned some very important breaking news a kinda weird thing.
Prince William never wears a wedding ring. He doesn’t even own a wedding ring. And there’s a strangely straightforward reason.
When the 34-year-old wed Kate Middleton in 2011, he said “no thanks” to the age-old tradition of a ring. While Kate donned an 18-carat gold wedding band on her finger, William decided to go ~el naturale~ and left his digits completely and utterly starkers.
Speaking to Time Magazine just before the royal wedding, a royal spokesperson explained everything.
“It is simply down to personal preference,” the palace aide said.

My husband doesn't wear a ring, didn't even get one for the ceremony. He's not a jewellery wearer and can't wear one at work anyway. My father and husbands father also don't have wedding rings. I thought it was a modern thing for a guy to wear a ring?
My dad (married 1974) hasn't worn his ring since my parents' wedding day. He just doesn't like wearing rings. I don't like wearing them either, so if I ever got married, I'd probably just get a cheapie for the ceremony. No sense wasting thousands on something I'll never ever wear again.
