Feminism is about choices, but those choices don't happen in a vacuum. And if we expose girls and women to constant images of women who have had surgical procedures, and tell them that they are the beauty standard, and that women's looks are the most important thing about them, it's not really a genuine choice to get plastic surgery or spend a lot of time and money on make up. It's a pressured choice.
I liked that this series included how much people paid in rent. Now that it's switched to more expensive places that people own instead of rent, I think the mortgage payment/value of the house should be included.
This is tragic and I feel for the family, but it was also easily avoidable and irresponsible.

The government isn't banning arts degrees, they're just making them more expensive.
