If Leigh Campbell wears army pants and flip-flops, then she must have her reasons, and I'll also be wearing army pants and flip-flops next.
So when Leigh told us she shaves her face in *stunning* detail on the You Beauty podcast, I knew it was my turn to shimmy down to the chemist and try it for myself.
Dermaplaning is the fancy term for using a razor blade to remove peach fuzz and dry, dead skin from your face. It’ll also give you a very mild exfoliation as the razor glides across the top of the dermis, helping to reveal MUCH smoother, more radiant skin for your foundation to look significantly better on. Chef's kiss.
One in particular I want to talk about is the new Finishing Touch Flawless Dermaplane Glow. It's the buzzy contender that incorporates a built-in LED light (gasp!) for did-I-just-become-a-beauty-expert level dermaplaning at home.
As soon as I read it has a professional-grade Japanese stainless steel blade (I wasn't mucking around when I said fancy!), I obviously felt I needed to have 100 women from Mamamia's You Beauty Panel to rate it first and tell me every little detail on its performance.
So, what did they all think of it? Did this $40 cutie meet expectations?
