UPDATE: Willow’s mama, Jada Pinkett Smith, has responded to her daughter’s photo scandal.

“Here’s the deal: There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation,” Pinkett Smith 

told TMZ.

 “You guys are projecting your trash onto it and you’re acting like covert paedophiles, and that’s not cool.”

The Whip My Hair singer (she released that song when she was nine. NINE!) appears in an arty-looking black-and-white photograph with a 20-year-old guy. The seven year age difference and the fact that 13 is only the very first year of the teens… Let’s just say everyone with an internet connection is outraged.

and they’ve both been in movies with their parents. Is it just us or is Willow always, always sullen? Might be the grunge look she’s going for, or the usual teenage angst, or maybe it’s because with parents like her she feels like the world is watching her every move. Which they are.

The family haven’t officially commented on the photo scandal but a “source” who is “close” to the family “says” that they’re not really worried about Willow’s photo shoot. That “person” says they think she’s “very mature”. Here’s Willow through the years…
