Twitter user Jaiden shared the simple trick on Twitter, admitting that his mum let him in on the family packing secret.

Yep, all you have to do is unscrew the lid, pop a piece of cling wrap over the bottle and screw the bottle top back on and you’re set.

Jaiden's helpful trick has been re-tweeted more than 2,400 times, with many sharing their own tales of cling wrap saving them from leaks.

"I did this today with my coffee, put a plastic bag over it closed the top and put it in my backpack and biked. It worked," Brittany shared.
