Men and women were asked to design the perfect man. Very different results.

Gentlemen, you can put down those dumbbells, now.

A study has shown that women prefer their men a little less buff, and a little more boy-next-door.

The survey performed by UK male clothing company Jacamo found a big discrepancy between ‘the kind of man women want’ and ‘the kind of man men think women want’.

This is the man-collage that 62% of men think women wanted:

  • Justin Beiber‘s hair (seriously?! Come on, guys).
  • Gerard Butler’s face.
  • Hugh Jackman‘s arms.
  • David Gandy’s torso (he is an English model. A very toned one).
  • Cristiano Ronaldo legs (he is a Portugese soccer player. A very toned one).
Hugh Jackman. Definitely has nice arms.

Look, he sounds lovely. We wouldn’t mind playing with him every now and then, right ladies? But as it turns out, women were a little more simple in their wishes. 72% of women opted for the man who consisted of:

  • James Corden’s smile (he is an English comedian, with a lovely smile).
  • Prince Harry‘s hair.
  • Paddy McGuinness’ arms (he is an English comedian/actor).
  • Ben Cohen’s torso (he is an English rugby union player).
  • Jonathon Ross’ legs (he is an English television/radio host. Strange but humble choice).
Prince Harry’s hair makes it on the women’s wish list.

The ladies preferred the boy-next-door. It just goes to show how much both genders have body insecurities, as many men had “pangs of anxiety when they fail to match up” to their idea of the perfect man, according to the study.

Don’t worry, guys. Turns out, women like a cuddly man with a friendly face.

Though, if Hugh Jackman should come knocking… We’ll make an exception.
