Downton Abbey Promotion on Mamamia and iVillage This competition (the “Promotion”) is conducted by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia Pty Limited ABN 39 152 425 735 of Level 30, 1 Market Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 (the “Promoter”). Entry to the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Promotion, entrants accept and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in the Promotion and to take the Prize if they are the winner. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions. The Promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 16 years or over. It is assumed that entrants are 16 years of age or over as they have a registered Facebook account and are adhering correctly to the Facebook platform terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to request any entrant to provide documentary evidence confirming his/her age. Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and their associated companies and agents and the immediate families of such employees are not eligible to enter the Promotion. The Promotion commences at 10:00hrs (EST) on Wednesday August 1 2012, and ends at 10:00hrs (EST) on Monday 27 August 2012. The Promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Entrance to the Promotion is via Mamamia and sister website iVillage timeline and requires the electronic contact form to be completed and the question to be answered: What is the name of the castle where Downton Abbey is filmed? The winner will be picked at random. Entries received as judged by the Promoter in its sole discretion will be determined as the winner of the Promotion. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. An Entrant’s entry must not be, without limitation: a) Late; b) Delayed; c) Incomplete; d) Incomprehensible; e) Unlawful; f) Obscene; g) Defamatory; h) Libellous; i) Threatening; j) Pornographic; k) Harassing; l) Hateful; m) Racially or ethnically offensive; n) Capable of encouraging conduct that would be considered a criminal offence; o) Capable of violating any law; and/or p) Capable of giving rise to civil liability. All entries become the property of the Promoter and cannot be returned. The Promoter may make copies of or publish any entry in any form or media. There is no limit on entries per entrant. One valid entrant will be selected as the winner based on the criteria set out in Section 8. The winner will receive the Prize. The Prize consists of: a) Two (2) economy return flights to London valued up to $4,000. Travel must be completed by 31st March 2013. Failure to redeem the prize by the required date or undertake the prize as stipulated will result in full forfeiture of the prize Unless expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. The winner (and their companion) are responsible for expenses incurred, including spending money, insurance, visa applications, most meals, all transfers (unless otherwise stated) including travel to and from departure point to airport, travel insurance, some taxes, gratuities, and all other ancillary costs. Flights are subject to availability and will be co-ordinated by Universal Sony Home Entertainment representative in conjunction with the winner. Travel blackout dates do apply, and include from 15th Dec 2012 to 20th Jan 2013. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. Domestic and international travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the website of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Winner and passenger must travel together. Winner and their travel companion cannot accumulate reward program points on these flights. Travel is on confirmed space, but is still subject to seat availability at time of booking. Tickets are non transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed). Any flights that remain unused by 31st March 2013 shall be deemed null and void and the Prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize. Cancellation and/or changes to the flight details once booked will incur the applicable changes fee published on the airlines website at the time the change is requested. The fee applies on a per-guest, per-change basis. This fee is payable by the winner. Winner and their travel companion must hold a current valid passport with at least six months validity as at the date of departure and be eligible for entry to the United Kingdom (standard entry visa) to be able to claim the Prize. The Prize will be sent to the winner’s nominated email address. Flights will be booked from the winner’s nearest capital city. Travel to and from the winner’s capital city airport do not form part of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner, unless otherwise stated or available.. The Winner (and their travel companion) will have all flights and accommodation booked by the Promoter from departure and arrival at the Winners nearest capital city, unless otherwise arranged and agreed by the Promoter. If a winner is unable to be contacted or does not claim their Prize within 30 calendar days of judging, their Prize will be forfeited. In the event of forfeiture a further draw will be conducted by the Promoter within 14 days and a new winner will be selected. You must supply your correct address and contact details, and must enter those details correctly on the electronic entry form, in order for your entry to be valid. Entrants will be invited to opt-in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter. The decision by entrants to grant or withhold their consent in relation to the use of their information for marketing purposes will not affect the selection of the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. The personally identifiable information you provide in connection with the Promotion will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, located at Entrants (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is not the age of majority in his/her state of residence) agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter and Facebook, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any claims made by the winner, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Promotion as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any Prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity or participation in this Promotion. The prizes supplied by Creative Holidays are as follows: 2 persons travelling together for 5 nights accommodation twin share at ‘The Montague’ in London. 2. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other products or services, or any travel related products or services, and must be redeemed as stated below. 3. The prize must be acknowledged and booking confirmed by 31st December 2012. Travel must be completed by 31st March 2013. Failure to redeem the prize by the required date or undertake the prize as stipulated will result in full forfeiture of the prize. 4. ‘Top up’ of the prize is allowed, where the purchase of additional travel products and services from Creative Holidays is added to the prize.
