All the huge Hollywood names who were once little-known Love Actually actors.

Love Actually wasn’t exactly short of big names when it premiered way back in 2003.

Colin Firth! Keira Knightley! Hugh Grant!

But it just so turns out that, in the 13 years since its glittery release, the rom-com has gone on to spark the careers of some other Hollywood stars. Big stars. Ones that you will most definitely recognise.

This is where some of the lesser-known actors from Love Actually are now.

January Jones

While January Jones only played a teeny tiny role in the film - she was one of the American gals who hooked up with Kris Marshall's character Colin - she's gone on to become a mega star.

Four years after the film wrapped, Jones landed a leading role as Betty Draper in the critically acclaimed TV series Mad Men along Jon Hamm. The 38-year-old has also impressed with significant roles in the films Unknown, Seeking Justice, and X-Men: First Class.

Martin Freeman

Oh! The lighting guy! (Images: Universal Pictures/Getty)

While you might know Freeman as the porno light-testing guy, the actor has gone on the achieve great things from his naked Love Actually stint.

For his supporting role in the crime drama Sherlock, Freeman won both a BAFTA and an Emmy. He was also widely praised for his standout portrayal of Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit film trilogy.

Chiwetel Ejiofor

OMG IT'S THE IGNORANT HUSBAND DUDE. (Images: Universal Pictures/Getty)

While Ejiofor played an ignorant husband with very few lines in Love Actually, the now 39-year-old has gone on to star in the film 12 Years a Slave - for which he earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination - and as Mordo in the 2016 film Doctor Strange.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster

Saaaaaaaaaam! (Images: Universal Pictures/Getty)

Awwwww. Remember little heart-struck Sam? Now he's all grown up - HE'S 26 YEARS OLD, IN FACT - and he's kicking career goals.

The actor and model has wowed crowds with his performances in The Maze Runner and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

But to me he'll always be that cherubic 12-year-old playing the drums. Bless his cotton socks.

Andrew Lincoln

So, so, so dreamy. (Images: Universal Pictures/Getty)

Ah, Andrew Lincoln. I can see you holding up those placards to Keira Knightley as I type this, you adorable human you.

It turns out that touching scene kickstarted Lincoln's career. The 43-year-old has gone on to portray Rick Grimes in AMC's The Walking Dead, for which he's been nominated for a Critic's Choice Award.
