The streaming service announced today that it’s just signed a huge deal with Disney to gain the exclusive rights to stream its biggest movies in Australia.
Frozen, Finding Nemo, Toy Story and The Lion King are just a few of the beloved kids movies you can watch as of tomorrow (if you didn’t already own them on DVD).
The deal also includes Marvel Studios films (which Disney owns) as well as Lucasfilm productions and of course, films from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. Oh and a whole bunch of movies and TV shows that aired on the Disney Channel (hello, High School Musical).
Star Wars fans will also be able to watch the most recent instalment The Last Jedi.
This isn’t a complete list, but here are some of the Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm movies coming to Stan on Friday:
The Little Mermaid
The Lion King
Beauty and The Beast (1991)
Toy Story 1, 2 and 3
Cars 1 & 2
Avengers: Infinity War (Coming January 15)
Avengers 1 & 2
Iron Man 1, 2 and 3.
Guardians of the Galaxy
Thor: Ragnarok (and Thor 1 & 2)
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Solo: A Star Wars Story
It’s safe to say we’re more than a little excited about the prospect of bingeing Disney movies all summer – and we suspect some parents will be pleased too.
