What the writing on Sophie Monk's hand said has given us another reason to love her.

Since her resurgence into the public spotlight on this year’s The Bachelorette, it’s difficult to say if Australia will ever stop falling in love with Sophie Monk.

Her appearance at last night’s ARIA Music Awards in Sydney captivated the nation all over again.

On the red carpet, the 37-year-old singer told News Corp she was busting to go to the “toiiiilet” in answer to a question about her relationship with Bach winner Stu Laundy.

On stage, presenting the first award of the evening, she quipped she was “so happy” to be at the ARIAs… “Even though I’ve never won one.”

Listen: The Mamamia Out Loud team discuss Sophie and Stu. Post continues after.

And, proving for the umpteenth time she really is all of us, she wrote the name of her dress designer on the palm of her hand.

Firstly (we’re speculating), so she wouldn’t forget. Secondly (she’s admitted it), because she couldn’t pronounce the name properly.

Monk knew, of course, she'd be asked by reporters "Who are you wearing?" And - in a video posted to Instagram - she admitted she didn't know how to pronounce the name 'Mariam Seddiq'.

So she wrote it on her hand and showed the cameras instead...

Oh, and then she went onto accidentally throw her ARIAs pass in the rubbish bin and attempted to fish it out with her bare hands.

Because of course she did.
