Sarah Jessica Parker spoke to Grazia magazine and said this about being named by Maxim as being The Unsexiest Woman Alive:
“It’s so brutal in a way, so filled with rage and anger. It upset him [Matthew], because it has to do with his judgment too. Do I have big fake boobs, Botox and big lips? No. Do I fit some ideals and standards of some men writing in a men’s magazine? Maybe not. Am I really the unsexiest women in the world? Wow! It’s kind of shocking…It’s condemnation, it’s insane. What can I do? I guess you can’t please all people.
”

Uggghh, Maxim. SJP is right, they really only like big boobed blondes in lingerie but to call her unsexiest is brutal. She's gorgeous and so chic.
It seems people group women into two camps, celebrity or otherwise - man's woman or woman's woman (aka "girl's girl). Not sure if it's a looks thing, but it exists.
Men's women: Angelina, Megan Fox, Jessica Alba
Women's women: SJP, Drew Barrymore, Reece Witherspoon
Only a few cross over - like Jennifer Garner.
Proof you can't please everyone. But SJP pleases women by and large and there's more of us then men - and we're the biggest consumers! :-)
oh i read this article what a horrible thing to say this is the problem with society today, we all have to live up to same standard. I am short and skinny similar to SJP and its hard people are pretty mean when it comes to how I 'look'. No one would say omg you so fat so why say omg you are so short and so thin....lets me nice to each it was what I was given, it was SJP was given so not cool.
