Late last year, parents were divided into two camps: the sharenters and the non-sharenters.
Now, a new twist on the phenomenon has emerged.
Its name? Snoozies.
That is, people taking photos of their sleeping loved ones – eyes closed, mouths wide open and cheeks flushed – and sharing them with the world.
Our preoccupation with welcoming followers into our most private spaces, our beds, is an admittedly adorable one.

Most people find it hard to admit that they're wrong. So, instead of changing their behaviour, they attempt to justify it - often by blithely continuing on as though no concerns about their behaviour had ever been raised.
This is why debates like this one are unlikely to change people's minds. With the internet being as it is, images that the "sharenters" have posted in the past are already impossible to retrieve... so it's better (in their minds) to pretend as though what they're doing is harmless, than to face the reality of the situation that child psychologists and other experts are now addressing.
The only minds that can really be changed are those of the people who are yet to have children. So it's still worth debating, for the sake of those people's future kids, if nobody else's.
