Robin Roberts publicly reveals she is gay.

“Good Morning America” anchor Robin Roberts has revealed in a heartfelt post on her Facebook page that she is gay.

Roberts has been publicly battling myelodysplastic syndrome for the last year, and on the 29th of December celebrated 100 days since her much needed bone marrow transplant.

She posted a thank you on her Facebook page, and included the line, “I am grateful for my entire family, my long time girlfriend, Amber, and friends as we prepare to celebrate a glorious new year together.”

Although it is apprently no secret in the industry that Roberts has been in a relationship with Amber for ten years, this is the first time she had publicly acknowledged her same-sex reltionship.

Her employer CNN responded with this statement: “We love Robin and Amber, who we have all known for a long time. We were so touched by Robin’s Facebook message today and so thankful for all the loving support she has in her life.”

Flashback 12/29/12….Hard to believe this was 1 year ago today..when I reached a critical milestone of 100 days post transplant…and KJ was finally allowed to come back home.

Reading this comforts me and I hope the same for you: “If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”

At this moment I am at peace and filled with joy and gratitude.

I am grateful to God, my doctors and nurses for my restored good health.

I am grateful for my sister, Sally-Ann, for being my donor and giving me the gift of life.

I am grateful for my entire family, my long time girlfriend, Amber, and friends as we prepare to celebrate a glorious new year together.

I am grateful for the many prayers and well wishes for my recovery. I return every one of them to you 100 fold.

On this last Sunday of 2013 I encourage you to reflect on what you are grateful for too.

Looks like the whole “This definitley isn’t desperate publicity I’m retiring no I’m not yes I am this will be my last album ever except no it isn’t OH GOD PLEASE BUY MY ALBUM” schtick didn’t work.

Journals (so deep, Justin) was released digitally in a hurry two days before Christmas to try and make some festive cash.

Lovely news: Patrick Swayze’s wife is engaged.

Patrick Swayze’s widow Lisa Niemi has found love again, confirming to US Weekly that she is engaged to jeweler Albert DiPrisco.

Before starring in iconic films like Dirty Dancing and Ghost, Patrick Swayze lived with his mother, who was a dnace teacher. Lisa Niemi came in for dance lessons in 1975 and the two began dating.

Niemi and Swayze were one of Hollywood’s rare long-term relationships. They were married for 34 years, until the actor sadly succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2009.

Chloe Moretz is being bribed to win Oscars.

You know Chole Moretz, the girl that starred in Hugo and Kick Ass and bunch of other films? Well, she’s only 16, so producers have to file legal documents to get permission to work with her. Which obviously means they wanted TMZ inveade her privacy by reading them and telling everybody what she gets paid.

Which they did. Immediately. And admittedly, it’s pretty interesting how much a 16-year-old can rake in these days.

For her upcoming film If I Stay, Moretz gets a $500 000 base salary. She gets an addtional $1 miilion or 25% of the film’s profits when it is released.

Pretty standard (you know, leaving aside the fact she is only SIXTEEN).

But the most interesting part of her contract is the bonus she gets for winning awards: $25 grand if she’s nominated for on Oscar, and another $25 grand if she wins.

50 thousand bucks is a pretty big incentive to learn your lines.
