Kaylea Reid posted revenge porn of her naked boss on his wife's Facebook page.

Care worker Kaylea Reid has been spared jail after she shared naked images of her boss, Robert Page, on his wife’s Facebook page.

The UK pair began working together in November of last year at the Affinity Trust, a charity that supports 900 people living with learning disabilities. After the 26-year-old split up with her boyfriend, their relationship became intimate.

“He managed to get hold of her mobile phone number and then he started texting…things developed,” Paul Booty, Reid’s defense lawyer, told the court.

He detailed how the pair exchanged “flirtatious” text messages and sent naked photographs of each other through messaging service WhatsApp.

The court heard Page got married during this period, but told Reid that he wished she was his wife.

The Sun reports that when Reid lost her job, she decided to share the pornographic images to the Facebook page Broadwater Tool Supplies — a business that sells tools to garages and farmers and has a following of approximately 4000 people. Page's new wife was a director of the business. Reid also tagged Page's work colleagues in the images, so they would be notified on their Facebook feed.

Reid told the court the images were shared without the consent of Page, and with the intention of causing him great distress. She was said to have felt taken advantage of, and was left to feel "foolish and naive."

Booty argued that in sharing the photos "she was trying to be heard."

The 26-year-old faced two years in prison, but was granted a conditional discharge for six months. The magistrate made no order for her to pay a victim fee of £20 (or $31) due to his "provocative behaviour".

In April of last year, revenge porn laws forbidding the distribution of private sexual photographs or films without the expressed consent of the subject, were introduced in the UK. Since, more than 200 people have been prosecuted.

An overwhelming majority have been male.
