I live with a secondary adrenal deficiency and depend on hydrocortisone. I can wholeheartedly relate to your story and the feeling of surprise and panic at this latest shortage. The alternative medication of Prednisolone has not been an effective or pleasant option and I have been quite unwell over the past 4 weeks. I am very concerned about the impact of larger supplies being provided on one script when there are still obvious supply chain issues. Some people may get luckier than others. I feel privileged that I can pay to buy this essential medication (normally). I understand the sentiment that the change in policy on prescription frequency and quantity may mean reduced cost which is a positive for some people. However very concerning that it is likely to cause inequity of access to many users
