I took some time to read her essay and listen to the podcast. In my opinion nothing that she says is transphobic. Everything that she has written on the topic has been thoughtful and respectful. These issues are complex and necessitate nuanced and careful discussion, particularly in the context of DVF protection, medical research and medical intervention on children. Most of the criticism of her is from people who it seems have never taken the time to actually listen to what she has to say. In terms of her legacy- I think she will be remembered as someone incredibly brave and a beacon of free speech given the prolonged abuse and violent threats she’s experienced
