I think no one know what 37 looks like because we don't see in the media /movies/TV stories about women in their late 30s or even 40s...... entertainment is often stories about women in collage/just graduated/ married and then skips to later in life women 50s/60s etc ( although there not as much as this as there is a focus on youth)

There are whole decades of women's lives that never get made into TV shows/movie...

Society seems to act like we are past covid but i am still experiencing other impacts from the experience. I felt a bit of relief reading this article that someone felt the same way I have been feeling.I experienced living lockdown alone and it's change my relationship with .how I feel about being at home and not in a good way.

I appreciate the tips in the article on living alone, it's a rare perspective to see in the media.

Thank you for sharing the views of firstly single women and secondly child free women. They’re so little experience shared and it’s nice for the experience to be visible in the media.

I find it so interesting the way the article is written. How much apologising is littered through out to mums. It’s so resonates how much our experience is invalidated because it’s not what mums go through.
I’ve had some many comments and invalidations made to me about how easy single life is compared to motherhood. And it’s not a competition.
I don’t know what it’s like to be a mum but perhaps mums don’t know what it’s like to be single and child free. It is absolutely not the care free easy life some of them think it is.
I once had work colleague mum who would make comments to me about how I didn’t have challenges and couldn’t be tired because I wasn’t a mum and finally one time I told her some of the stuff I had to work through on my OWN and could see in her face she never ever considered what the experience of being child free and single might actually be like.
