@mamamia-user-936684540sad fact is many women's groups have a large amount of toxicity but that goes with most groups that have a sort of requirement. Eg. I'm a male and most of my mates have been female. I also raised daughters myself (yes I know, it's a criteria for exclusion. Lol) and mums groups would do the nice praises to my face all while excluding me from everything as being a male is somehow a bad thing.

Maybe they thought I'd get to know mum secrets (pssst I knew them already) or maybe they thought I'd know all the things they think (I know that stuff as well. Lol) or maybe simply I was the wrong gender or simply I somehow didn't fit a mold of what they wanted (gossipy and nasty behind the backs of others while bemoaning the so called struggles that claim ot have (that could be it as being a male raising daughters himself is a threat to thier matredom. Lol).
Either way my daughters missed out on sleep over ect because of this and for that I am not happy with (exclude me, I'm used to being lonely but excluding my daughters from play dates ect is unforgivable)

@alicepartridge that's a great idea. Even then she can have a sleep over at hers and then 1 at the fiends.

I btw am the guy parents called wierd. Because I raised daughters myself as a single parent and (not this hurt as I was basically treated in a terrible way) I was called wierd by a mum because I stayed aways from the click group parents and as such kids would come talk to ke and I would have chats with them. This Mena tky kids missed out on so much based on such a biased and sexist view and trust me when I say my youngest still blames me for missing out:(

@film_addict101 sorry but I was the wierd dad so this idea is bad news. Because I was considered wierd my kids were treated differently and to the pl9nt where my youngest only had 1 friend who's parent would allow sleep overs. I was even called wierd by a parent because when kids would come talk to me I would have chats with the kids and joke with them. I would rough house with my girls as well (this btw has taught them how to defend themselves which is a good thing).

I would also no more allow a child be harmed than I would allow my own kids to be harmed so I'm sorry but coming from a parent who raised daughter alone and is male has negative effects on not just the make but the kids as well

Ok I understand your worries but I'm 1 of those wierd dads (except I had the golden rule (still do) or never drink I'm front of children ans in fact the first time any of my kids saw me drink my youngest was 18. I btw was a fulltime single parent so yeah I got lots of judgement and even called wierd because when any of my daughters friends came to chat to me I would have chats with them (apparently thats weird for a male. Lol). So as a result only 1 of my youngest friends was ever allowed to sleep over (you want to imagine how that effects a child?) But the oldest never had the issue as the parents all trusted me.

@daijobou well funny thing is us guys don't really have that problem and can still impregnate a person up until we die. Lol.

We also don't know how the conversation enevtuated and why he said that. Eg. Yes she wants kids and she likely said this. Is he to simply agree and say nothing else?
Btw a female friend Waite and now she has no eggs and she thought she could have a kid whenever she chose. Nature doesn't care what you or I feel. Oh and at 47 I can still get a woman pregnant easily. However a 47year old woman getting pregnant isn't so easy, let alone having a healthy child if she were to get pregnant so there's that fun fact as well.

Reality isn't meant to be fun all the time. That's why we have stories instead
