Attended a destination wedding, that ALL of the family was invited to of my SIL....it was child free. Those of us with kids had to choose if the non-related parent of the couple missed out on the wedding/holiday to care for the kids, or fork out $300 for the night for a babysitter. It was so bloody stressful.
