@beckdavis So basically, what you're saying is that an esteemed commentator or coach should compete in, let's say, an athletics event, over and above the actual athlete - just because they have more knowledge?

I think women need to move on from turning birth into some sort of ritual. For me, it was just: Get the baby out the fastest way possible, with as little pain involved as possible - so that we can both get on with our lives.

Here's something else: judging by comments and media snippets online, it seems Victoria trimmed a couple of years off her age back in the Spice Girls era, just as every actress/model/celeb does... so she's actually your age.

I live very close to The Block, and earlier this year (when they were filming) I saw one of the show's vehicles parked on my street, with two contestants (you could tell by the TV makeup) standing next to it having a very agitated teary conversation, while a cameraman filmed.  At the time, I thought: That looks pretty intense.
