Thank you for sharing this. I have known your dad for decades after meeting him in 1984 in Sierra City, CA. I witnessed his wedding to Alison and have stayed in somewhat touch with them after I returned to the states in November, 2000.
It was his influence that led me to move to West Penwith not once, but twice.
I introduced him to the Runes. He introduced me to Cornwall and I was gutted to learn of his passing. Gutted.
Med's passing preceded the death of another dear friend here in Washington state where I now reside by only two weeks. And all during the pandemic where hugs aren't advised and travel virtually stopped. I share in the unsettling 'moving on' the pandemic requires and still I grieve. In my own way, by myself, reaching out when I can to touch another's grief, even virtually, in an attempt to stay connected.
Your dad touched many lives. Mine was one of them. Hugs to you.
