The word for this is orthorexia. It's an eating disorder that constitutes and unhealthy obsession with eating healthy food. It's essentially anorexia, or a starvation diet, under a veneer of social acceptability.

It's ludicrous to suggest criticism of her advice constitutes hatred. We're not "allowed to hate her because she has unpopular opinions," we're allowed to object to her giving dangerous advice. @zoewest Medical doctors do not specialise in functional medicine. It's not a specialty of conventional medicine. It's not taught in "traditional med schools." This "doctor" has not attended "traditional med school" and "chosen to specialties [sic] in functional medicine." If he had, he wouldn't have had to issue a disclaimer on his website. And yes, this article is "very mainstream and biased." That's because science is both mainstream and strongly biased in favour of evidence-based medicine.
