@ygee1 I think he’s clearly trying to be relatable to his audience, especially given his target group is 15-18 year old boys. This kind of nit-picking causes the message to get lost and it doesn’t do anything to a) encourage boys/men to have these conversations with each other, b) support those trying to create change.
@hopey I disagree. How is this any different to meeting someone at a pub? I try not to message for more than a week bc you create a person in your head that isn’t real. I know what my key questions are, and if I have my answer, in person is the way to go. And who’s to say they’re not a serial killer even after you’ve ‘vetted’ them? Always meet in a public place and tell someone where you’re going.
