All anyone wants is a ‘normal’ pregnancy. The problem? There’s not really any one type of ‘normal’ pregnancy because everyone’s experience is so different.
That said, there are some warning signs that indicate things aren’t going exactly the way they should. Here are the problems and warning signs you shouldn’t ignore.
1. Bleeding or spotting.
Unexpected blood from any part of your body is never welcome, but spotting or bleeding doesn't always mean a big problem. A little bit of blood can occur after sex from irritating your cervix, which is more sensitive when you're pregnant.

I am a little concerned about the advice given above that mothers who are worried about reduced fetal movements should drink icy cold water or orange juice. This is an erroneous piece of advice and contradicts the current Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand guidelines which state that there is no evidence to support this practice.
While this bit of very old-fashioned advice has been around for a long time, Australian hospitals have been trying to get people out of this habit for at least 6 years. I would strongly recommend withdrawing this article which seems to be based on limited information from a doctor in a Los Angeles Hospital and is culled from a Fox News article which lists TEN symptoms you shouldn't ignore.
