Incredible photos capture the most iconic moments of Obama's presidency.

The job of the official White House photography Pete Souza is arguably as busy as any of the politicians he keeps a record of.

In the past eight years he’s attended countless meetings and functions with President Obama, met diplomats, world leaders (even tiny bath robed monarchs) snapping every handshake along the way.

He’s also managed to capture some of the more candid, quieter moments outside of office hours.

Over the course of Obama’s tenure Souza has taken more than 2 million photos, the best of which shared with public online along with behind the lense accounts of what went down.

As the November election approaches, we took a look back through the archives.

Here’s some of our faves.
