Bachelor In Paradise's Megan Marx admits she has spent $47,000 on cosmetic surgery.

Bachelor in Paradise star Megan Marx has been transparent about her cosmetic procedures, telling NW Magazine this week she has had up to $47,000 worth of surgery.

The 29-year-old told the magazine the list includes a second nose job last month after previously having “liquid nose job”; when dermal fillers are used to reshape the nose instead of surgery.

“I like to eat healthy and work out, but no matter how much of that you do, your nose doesn’t get any smaller,” she said.

The reality personality underwent a “lip lift” – a surgical reshaping that increases the prominence of the vermilion border – at the same time.

At the age of 18, Marx first had a breast augmentation surgery after being raised in strict religious ‘cult’, six years before she had ever worn her first bikini.

“It’s bizarre, right? I hadn’t even had sex yet and I saved up and didn’t tell a single person I went to get them done.”

In 2016 and in an interview with Kyle and Jackie O, Marx said she preferred to call her upbringing a “community” rather than a “cult”.

“I don’t like to call it a cult.” Instead, she told the show, she prefers to describe it as a “community”, and explained she “didn’t watch TV, [there was] no alcohol, and church everyday.”

She added that perhaps the most bizarre part of life in this community was the fact they performed exorcisms.

“It was difficult to leave the ‘community’ but I had thought about it for a while,” she said. “Having my first drink, wearing a bikini was hard.”
