Margot Robbie and Chris Hemsworth fought to be Ellen's Best Aussie. Happy Thursday, folks.

Just what’s need on a Thursday, two Aussie celebs battling it out for a jar of vegemite and Ellen’s ‘Best Aussie’ title.

Actors Chris Hemsworth, 34, and Margot Robbie, 27, entered the ring to the song “I come from the land down under” wearing matching kangaroo onesies and oversized boxing gloves, of course.

They both had buzzers and were quizzed on all things Australian by the show’s host Ellen Degeneres. “We’re going to play a game called ‘Ellen’s Australian Boxers’ and whoever wins becomes the ‘Best Australian’ except for my wife Portia de Rossi,” Ellen began.

They were asked about Olivia Newton John power ballads – Margot won that one with the answer Physical.

Nicole Kidman’s place of birth (HINT: not in Australia) – neither of them knew she was actually born in Hawaii.

And who could do the best Crocodile Dundee impersonation – that was a tie.

Chris took a minute but came through with the goods when asked "Which children's show did Liam Hemsworth and Margot Robbie star in?".

The answer is the 2008 series The Elephant Princess and Googling that will now become your Thursday procrastination tactic. It's worth it. You're welcome.

Finally, Margot was asked "Liam or Chris Hemsworth?" and proved she's all of us because, how can you answer? That's like choosing between Billy the Kid and Thor... Oh, wait...

Thankfully, Chris swooped in to save her with an answer of his own, naming Liam.

Ultimately, Chris won the contest but that's really unimportant because they both looked adorable dressed as kangaroos and you won't get Down Under out of your head for the rest of the day.

Things could be worse, happy Thursday.
