The lyric that proves Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet and Travis Scott are in a messy love triangle.

Up until this week, the Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet dating narrative was still just a rumour, until her ex-partner Travis Scott pretty much made it official.

Allow us to explain.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, have been in an on-again-off-again relationship since 2017, and share two children together.

They allegedly officially broke up at the beginning of 2023, which made way for a very unexpected celebrity pairing when Kylie met Timothée Chalamet at the Jean Paul Gaultier show during Paris Couture Week.

While neither Jenner nor Chalamet has officially confirmed their relationship, we do have the following (pretty compelling) evidence.

In March 2023, both Jenner and Chalamet attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party, but since they were not photographed together at this event, the real headlines about their relationship didn't kick off until April 2023, when Jenner was photographed driving up to the 27-year-old actor’s home in Beverly Hills in her black Range Rover. 

Chalamet arrived shortly afterwards.

Then on April 13, Chalamet was seen getting into the back of Jenner’s car after leaving an art show in Santa Monica. A month later, a source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Jenner and Chalamet were “casually seeing each other but are trying to keep it low-key”. 

“They are becoming more comfortable with each other, but Kylie wants to take things day by day and see where it goes,” they said. 

Later that month, Jenner’s Range Rover was seen outside Chalamet’s house again and then in June 2023, the pair were photographed walking outside Chalamet’s house and holding hot drinks. Steamy.

Aside from the blurry paparazzi photos that occasionally pop into our news feeds, no one in the famous trio has ever alluded to the new relationship... until Travis Scott recently released his new album Utopia.

And buried away in the song Meltdown are these telling lyrics: 

“Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs)/Burn an athlete like it's calories, find another flame hot as me, bitch."

Now, you could say that these lyrics are a nod to Roald Dahl's 1964 children's novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, where the character of Willy Wonka originated. 

Or the beloved 1971 film adaptation Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory... Or even the less beloved 2005 version of the movie starring an unsettling Johnny Depp.

But something tells us it's a definite nod to the upcoming movie Wonka, a prequel flick in the famous franchise that will star none other than Chalamet himself as Mr Wonka along with Hugh Grant as a sassy Oompa Loompa.

(That last fact isn't part of this investigation, it's just important information you need to be across.)

So there you have it: the one lyric that's made us believe Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet and Travis Scott could possibly be in quite the messy love triangle.

Now let's just hope Timothée Chalamet also responds via rap.
