There’s no doubt the ‘reckoning’ is upon us. Thanks to a bunch of scumbags, women are speaking out and being heard, and standing in solidarity.

There’s never been a better time to get around women doing great things, right?

Unfortunately, it would appear Kim Kardashian West didn’t get that memo. And this folks, is why we can’t have nice things. Here’s what happened.

Earlier this week, Taylor Swift was featured on the cover of BritishVoguein a 1920s Great Gatsby-esque shoot inspired by her new album,Reputation.

She looked great. All was good. Yay for Taylor.

Then, Kim went and took a chainsaw to her success, posting this throwback picture of the topless wax Taylor that sparked the whole ‘Taylor vs. Kimye’ feud of 2016 on Instagram.

“Famous,” she captioned the image, sending what we interpreted as a reminder to the ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ singer of exactly how she ended up on thatVoguecover.

Although Taylor’s followers quickly came to her defence by commenting on all of Kim’s photos with rat emojis (rat emojis, really?), this whole thing is starting to feel a bit like wrangling two toddlers fighting over the last icy pole.

No one made the other famous. You’re both talented and intelligent women. There’s enough spotlight to go around.

Now, can’t we all just get along? Or at the very least, not tear someone down when they’re having a good day?
