There’s no doubt the ‘reckoning’ is upon us. Thanks to a bunch of scumbags, women are speaking out and being heard, and standing in solidarity.
There’s never been a better time to get around women doing great things, right?
Unfortunately, it would appear Kim Kardashian West didn’t get that memo. And this folks, is why we can’t have nice things. Here’s what happened.
Earlier this week, Taylor Swift was featured on the cover of British Vogue in a 1920s Great Gatsby-esque shoot inspired by her new album, Reputation.
She looked great. All was good. Yay for Taylor.
Then, Kim went and took a chainsaw to her success, posting this throwback picture of the topless wax Taylor that sparked the whole ‘Taylor vs. Kimye’ feud of 2016 on Instagram.

This again reminds me of the "mean girls" fau fights with those that they felt threatened by in years 7-9 at high school, (they never got into them, themselves as the horrors of breaking a nail or god forbid wreck their makeup, precluded them from participating, (that is what winding up the "scrags" was for, I know it's awful but that's the way it was back then) Do people not realise this is just another way of attention seeking, through social media, so that you will buy their next must have makeup schtick or god forbid Swifts offerings that are being touted to the young & innocent through the marketing, manipulation of her record label. The way that these people who continue to exist in such mediocrity, who seem to think that their respective careers need this sort of boost to increase their status & popularity. There was a report & research on the problems that those who've been exposed to & brought up in Hollywood & the entertainment industry & by extension these power families. When they enter the pressures within this environment are so great many don't have the support or maturity to cope, so they have people who do everything for them, they're less likely to mature at a normal rate & also whatever they do to improve their status can often be at the level of where they started off whether that be pre-teens or in the teenage years. It's been observed that the lack of maturity in this particular bit of bitchy teenage digital slap fight, (is funny but sad at the same time) in the fact that these are supposed to be 2 grown adult women, who if they stopped for one minute, they could help change the conversation for women everywhere, & start supporting women's inclusion in the conversation, in the quest for a better deal not only in the entertainment industry, but across the board. I also wholeheartedly agree Amy "there's enough spotlight to go around." Obviously someone's not making enough money or keeping their social media accounts topped up well enough, with naive or cashed up youngsters/parents. I only have four words for both these women. Grow the hell Up.
KK is probs just jealous because Taylor actually has talent, and didn't need to start off her career by leaking a sex tape....
Yeah, that sort of logic fits so nicely into this Babysitter's Club teenage drama. She's just jelly and a hater of beautiful, talented Taylor.
