Kourtney Kardashian reveals what she bickers with Kim about the most.

Mum-of-three Kourtney Kardashian knows a thing or two about parenting.

Having split from her long time partner Scott Disick midway through last year, the pint-sized 37-year-old is a single mum to sons Mason, 6, and Reign, 16 months, and daughter Penelope, 3.

Now, in an interview with The New Potato, the health nut and reality TV entrepreneur is ready to share some of the mothering wisdom she’s picked up along the way.

So what does she want to tell expecting mums around the world? Back yourself in and “trust your instincts”. Always.

“I think we all have a mother’s instinct when we have kids, so just trust it and stay calm. I remember when I was pregnant with Mason, my mom would always be like, ‘Why isn’t the room painted? Where is the crib? Where is this or that…’ And I was like, ‘People used to have babies in caves; it’s going to be okay’.”

As for mums on the go (AKA every mum on Planet Earth) Kourtney sympathises with the frantic lifestyle of being a new parent. She says that when it comes to carting around baby gear that less is more, and staying calm is always the way to go.

“Don’t worry if your diaper bag isn’t perfectly packed with all the things you need. As time went on, I started to just leave the house without it. I would bring the essentials or just throw a couple things in my purse instead of this huge thing, with blankets and extra sweaters.

“I was like ‘Let’s just live life and not carry a million things around.’ I think it’s about staying calm and trusting your instincts.”

It’s not exactly that little sister Kim would agree with Kourtney’s advice, however. According to Kourtney, her mega-celeb sibling seems to “bicker” about all matters parenting.

“Kim and I…I feel like we will bicker. It’s not even bickering; we just have different ways of doing things.

“So even if it’s things with our kids, we’ll talk to each other about it. I’ll say, “I think I want to do this, this way,” and then she wants to do something that way. She will give little digs as if my way is wrong or something. I used to love confrontation – and I don’t love confrontation anymore – but sometimes it will really get to me and I’ll just go off. And it feels so good. It’s more just a yelling, quick thing to let it be known that I’m always right.”

One thing’s for sure: Kim and Kourt certainly aren’t the first pair of sisters to bicker when it comes to motherhood.
