The story about Karl Stefanovic's girlfriend that's tipped him over the edge.

Karl Stefanovic is used to his private life being fodder for websites, TV shows and gossip magazines.

And while having his every move judged by the public is part of the job of being the high-profile co-host of Channel Nine’s Today Show – to an extent – even he has to draw a line in the sand at some point.

For the 43-year-old, that line is his family. In this case, his relationship with fashion designer and Mara & Mine co-founder, Jasmine Yarbrough.

Following claims Yarbrough is “believed to be pregnant” published by women’s weekly magazine, Woman’s Day on Monday, Stefanovic made it known exactly what he thinks of how his partner was allegedly ‘flaunting her baby bump’ in a lovely black jumpsuit at the Derby Day races.

Choosing to comment through his manager, the Daily Telegraph reported, the father-of-three labelled the story as “absolute bullsh*t”.

“For 12 months this magazine has printed untrue stories about Karl and Jasmine and this is just another one of them,” Sharon Finnigan said on behalf of Stefanovic and Yarbrough.

“We are disgusted at what’s being printed and Karl is urging people not to buy the magazine because it’s untrue. It’s particularly upsetting that this magazine is run by a female editor yet she feels the need to publish stories that are hurtful and upsetting, particularly to Jasmine.”

Earlier this year, Stefanovic mercilessly called out the Daily Mail over publishing a “cheap, lazy online slur” accusing Stefanovic of being romantically involved with a Channel Nine female TV producer, who they chose to name.

As for the alleged “baby bump” Yarbrough flaunted trackside? No woman, be she in the public eye or not, should have to think about the way their stomach looks when putting on a jumpsuit, let alone fear them being pointed out to us by people we’ve never met.

We all have stomachs. And Yarbrough’s ability to have a bloody good time at the races has zero per cent to do with hers.
