Jessica Simpson blames her weight gain on her husband.

And talks about their sex life.

When it comes to her weight woes, Jessica Simpson is an open book. She’s been open about struggling with her post-baby body until she finally achieved her goal weight.

What we weren’t expecting was for Jess to blame her weight gain on her unsuspecting husband, Eric Johnson, 35.

In an interview with InStyle magazine, Jessica said, “My husband and I were looking at old pictures recently, and I asked him, ‘Babe, why didn’t you tell me to put the brownie down?’ He said, ‘You looked great.’ He’s always loved every curve on my body.”

But the 34-year-old’s fluctuating weight hasn’t had an impact on her and Eric's intimacy, adding “we’ve always had a healthy sex life.”

The face of Weight Watchers has had a long stint on body issues, explaining, “I’d been scrutinised about my weight before I got pregnant, so I refused to let anyone steal the joy of my babies.”

Yet there was one big event that Jess wanted to slim down for “I worked really hard because I wanted to appreciate being in a wedding gown again. I wanted to enjoy it like I did the first time. But I didn’t have a weight goal; I just wanted to look healthy,” she said.

Now the singer "only" works out five days a week, saying, “I’ve slowed down since my wedding.”

And it doesn’t look like Jess will be getting her baby-body back any time soon, revealing she thinks she is done have kids.

“I don’t think so. Having two kids back-to-back was hard on my body. But if I do have more, I wouldn’t want them to read this and think they weren’t wanted,” Jessica went on to say.
