My favourite was on The Nanny, when Lauren Lane - CC - was pregnant. She was talking about the how ridiculous Seinfeld was trying to hide Julia's pregnancy, then hid her own bump with a huge sign for their next show -
called "Baby'. There were a lot of huge handbags and big pot plants too, very obvious, but funny.
I remember that. That was clever.
'The Nanny' didn't really try to hide Lauren Lane's pregnancy; they made looking like they were trying to hide it, part of the comedy of the show.
That was why I loved it so much - it was so obvious and they just went with it rather than cover it up.
