In the biggest TV mystery since Who Shot Mr. Burns?, the release date for the next season of Game of Thrones has finally been revealed.
Winter is FINALLY coming, you guys. It’s just…it’s just taking a little longer than we thought.
The premiere date for season seven of the HBO show was unveiled in a Facebook Live, but not before avid fans of the show sat through ONE WHOLE HOUR of watching ice melt.
Fans were asked to comment ‘FIRE’ on the video to help the ice along.

Finally, after an amount of time that feels about equal to the time the long-lost son of King Robert Baratheon, Gendry, has been escaping in that row boat, the premiere date was confirmed.
It’s… July 16.
Which is quite a far way away from the show’s usual April premiere date. Fans were prepared for the delay, with news breaking last year that unusually warm weather meant that filming had to be pushed back.
So, the countdown is on. Winter is finally, FINALLY about to be here.

Spoiler alert.
You know that favourite character you personally identified with? They died.
I've got no interest in watching a show which routinely includes rape. There were 50 rapes in the first six series.
