An advice columnist just fell for the story of TV show 'Full House'.

Whoops.

A US advice columnist called Miss Lonleyhearts answered a very heartfelt plea this week, from a man who desperately needed some answers about how to raise his children.

The only problem? The man’s life sounded familiar. Very familiar. As in, it was the exact story of loveable dad Danny Tanner from Full House. And poor Miss Lonleyhearts never saw it coming.

Here’s the letter she received:

DEAR MISS LONELYHEARTS: My wife was recently killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. She left behind our three little girls, the youngest being only six months old. My job keeps me very busy and sometimes has me working unpredictable times of the day and week. I know I’m not going to be able to raise my children all by myself. I have recruited my brother-in-law and best friend to live with me and help raise the children. Do you think having three males in the house raising children is the right thing to do? — Desperate Dad, Manitoba

Sounds suss…

Well, it did sound suss to everyone except MissLonleyhearts, who responded to ‘Desperate Dad’ with some very earnest advice like,”Why not have three loving, trustable men raising a family? Plus you can get female babysitters, neighbours and other members of the family circle to come over for play dates, stroller-walking and help at bedtime.” (Yeah like Aunt Becky!)

The column has obviously gone viral now, since MissLonleyhearts was also tricked into believing a problem based on Breaking Bad last year.

Someone needs to catch up on their TV, asap.
