After months of are they or aren’t they speculation about the state of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s relationship, Cyrus’ own godmother has let the proverbial cat out of the bag during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Following sightings of the pair together at the Byron Bay Falls Music and Arts Festival, there was speculation as to whether they had rekindled their romance. There was also talk that Miley was once again donning that giant rock Liam gifted her prior to their 2013 split.
Many close to the pair have been keeping mum on news that they were not only back together, but once again planning a wedding.
Liam’s older brother Thor Chris Hemsworth got himself out of a pickle when he was asked about the relationship when promoting Tourism Australia earlier this year.
“Not that I know of. I saw the very accurate reports on that subject,” the elder Hemsworth said. “I don’t know how reliable that source is!”
Miley’s godmother was a little less diplomatic after being asked whether she liked the pair together, telling ET: “Yes I do, I was really happy to hear that they had gotten back together.”
