Chrissy Teigen's 'push present' is both unexpected and refreshingly honest.

US model Chrissy Teigen has revealed some of her post-birth realities after giving birth to her baby Luna last week.

She told her fans on Twitter that she has purchased a perineal irrigation bottle as a “push present” to herself.

“Have you EVER heard of a grosser name for a product, EVER?” she told fans.

The product website says the bottle is used to “heal and reduce the chance of irritation or infection of the sutured perineal area.”

That’s the area between the vagina and anus, so it’s safe to assume Teigen is feeling a bit sore.

“No one told me I would be coming home in diapers too,” she said.
Her comments make me feel better. I had absolutely no idea about the aftermath of birth and it’s refreshing to see a celebrity get real with it.

My hospital bag contained skinny jeans and the attitude that my body would recover quickly.
I was told by my mother, who had five children, that it would be about a two week recovery – but obviously my expectations were much higher.  I wanted back in those skinny jeans as soon as my baby was out,  but I am still not there.

Everything in my world has changed since having a baby and Teigen is going through those changes publicly.

She tweeted: “Thank you for all your well wishes…I dunno what to tweet now, does my twitter change?”

Well here’s my guess – yep your Twitter changes. Everything changes. Get ready for a wild ride.
