I do not care about cute animal stories. I just don’t. I’m the type of person who likes eating lambs, not looking at pictures of them.
But damn it, this two-legged Chihuahua is best friends with a fluffy chicken and it is pretty much the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. My heart is officially thawing.
This is Roo the Chihuahua and his BFF Penny Chicken:
They were both adopted by the Duluth Animal Hospital in the US when they were just a few weeks old. Roo is in a wheelchair because he’s missing his front two legs. He was rescued from a ditch where his owner had dumped him. Penny Chicken was saved from a life of animal testing. Apparently they immediately took a shine to one another, and now they just spend their days hanging and snuggling. SNUGGLING!

I love this so much - probably because I find chihuahua's strangely adorable.
I know a lot of people think they look like 'drowned rats', but I love them. Perhaps BECAUSE I know a lot of people don't like them, and I want to root for the underdog. ;)
Rosie, who puts a 2 legged dog that can only roll backwards presumably and a fluffy white chicken with no eyes in the damn snow?? Do they not have enough problems without HYPOTHERMIA ;)
I can't stop laughing. And that bloody chihuaha looks like it'd bite anything that looked it at the wrong way. With the exception of the chicken of course...
